The original filtration plant began producing filtered water in 1906 and the current plant was commissioned in 1970. The Filtration Plant is located at 164 Old Boston Road in Wilton. Once the water enters the plant various chemicals are used depending on the quality of the untreated water. After the water is filtered and treated it leaves the plant and goes to a storage tank and then on to the customer.
